Certificate IV in TESOL

Course Overview: Certificate IV in TESOL is a course that prepares you with the practical skills and knowledge to teach English. This course is designed to develop the common understanding of the application of English to non-native speakers. Upon completion, it also allows a person to apply for English teaching jobs both in domestic, and international arena.

  • Duration: 26 Weeks
  • Funding: This quali­fication is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding to eligible candidates.
  • Course fee: Tuition fees- $3,999.00 ($0 for eligible Skills First Funding applicants)
  • Prerequisite: There is no formal prerequisite for this course.
  • Entry Requirements:

    Education/Core Skills
    Students must complete a Pre-Training Review, meet the Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skill standards for Certificate IV level study and demonstrate that they are a suitable candidate for this course.

    Age at Commencement
    It is recommended that students have attained the age of 18 by the course commencement date.

    Regulatory
    Evidence of Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required. All participants require a Unique Student Identification (USI) number. If you do not have a USI number you can apply for one online at https://www.usi.gov.au/students
